Old Business:
Status of Windance Golf Course hosting a play day was discussed. Under Article III, Section 1, of Bylaws, Windance is ineligible to host a play day this year because their facility had increased the play day fee to $35.00, in excess of what other members clubs are charging GCWGA ladies.
Publicity:
Trying to get more publicity was discussed. Ladies agreed it was difficult getting scores published.
2009 Schedule:
Vice President, Julie Hudson will post on GCWGA web site.
New Business:
Pace of Play is a Big problem – some players are taking 5 hours to play a round of golf during our play days. It was agreed to ask host professional to monitor play.
Motion made by Yvonne Luck, seconded by Darlene Santelli to limit play to 5 hours. Motion carried.
Trophies:
Older trophies need replacing or repairing. There is money in the budget to try to replace one each year. There was discussion on what to do with the retired Mary Price Championship Trophy. Anita Crozat will check into housing it permanently at Gulf Hills since Mary played at Gulf Hills.
Extras at Play days:
$300 budgeted in the 2009 Budget to be divided among host clubs for closest-to-pins or other “extra” events to make play days more fun. Each club will decide what they will do.
Motion to adjourn at 11:00a.m.

Respectfully submitted,
Deb Seidel, Secretary
