Brief History of the GCWGA
The Gulf Coast Women’s Golf Association was organized in 1964 and this year marks the 43rd year of providing ladies the opportunity to meet other women, form new friendships and promote women’s golf on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Membership consists of 13 area clubs and/or organizations from the counties of Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River, and Stone with individual memberships of approximately 200 ladies.
The Association sponsors a monthly event at one of the 13 clubs and hosts a Championship, played over 3 days at a different club each day. |
